Three questions cut through most sales pitches:
- Do they measure citations across multiple AI engines? ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini all cite differently. A GEO company that only tracks Google AI Overviews is doing SEO with a new label.
- Do they engineer at the site level? Entity schema, JSON-LD, and atomic answer structure matter more than blog volume. Ask to see the technical checklist.
